Concerned? Learn what you can do to advance a more fair and inclusive legal profession.

This panel will discuss the numerous barriers to entering the legal profession for women and people of color, including those who have been incarcerated or detained in a prison, immigration detention center, local jail, juvenile detention center, or any other carceral setting, those who have been convicted but not incarcerated, those who have been charged but not convicted, and those who have been arrested. This program will further highlight the impact of restrictive policies, procedures, and lack of access to the legal profession on women and communities of color.
