Presented as part of the WBA Rooted in Well-Being Series

Sponsored by: Women's Bar Association of DC

Infertility affects millions of individuals and families, yet it is often experienced in silence due to stigma, misunderstanding, and emotional complexity. Join us for a thoughtful, moderated conversation exploring both the personal and professional realities of navigating fertility challenges. This discussion will address why infertility can be difficult to talk about, how stigma contributes to isolation, and what meaningful support can look like in workplaces, families, and communities.

Participants will gain practical guidance on how to respond with empathy and respect, including what to say, what to avoid, and how to create more compassionate and inclusive environments for those impacted by infertility.

This conversation will feature Arden O’Connor, Founder and CEO, and Alex Kurjiaka, LPC, Director of Family Services, who bring clinical expertise and lived experience to this important dialogue.

Speaker:
Alex Kurjiaka, LPC, Director of Family Services, Intent Clinical
