COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols

For your safety, the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia and WBA Foundation will be following federal, state, and local guidelines at the time of the event. The guidelines, protocols, notices, and waivers below apply to ALL event attendees. We are monitoring the impact of COVID-19 and its variants and will update our Health & Safety Protocols as appropriate.

All WBA/WBAF 2021 Annual Dinner attendees will be required to show a copy of their CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record along with a photo ID. Those with medical or religious exemptions must show proof of a negative COVID test result taken no more than 48 hours prior to your arrival at the event.

Attendees should be prepared to show a copy of their vaccination record or test result documentation to WBA/WBAF staff upon check in at the event at the International Spy Museum. To preserve your privacy, vaccination and test results will be held in strict confidence by WBA/WBAF staff members only.

NOTICE OF RISK

By registering for this event, you affirm that you understand the following Notice of Risk. If you are registering on another’s behalf, ensure that the terms are acknowledged by the attendee; you assume full responsibility for their acceptance of this notice.

The Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia (WBADC) and the WBA Foundation (WBAF) (which includes WBADC, WBAF, Potomac Management Resources (PMR), the venue, and all their affiliated entities) cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 and/or its variants while attending their events and/or entering into premises where events are held. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to attend an event organized by WBADC and/or WBAF and enter into premises where events are held, you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19 and/or its variants and do so at your own risk, holding the WBADC and the WBAF harmless should you contract any disease while attending such event.

If you are registering on another’s behalf, ensure that they agree to abide by these terms; you assume full responsibility for their acceptance of these terms. Failure to adhere here or comply with the Safety Protocols in place may result in removal from the event and/or event premises. These protocols may include, but are not limited to, proof of vaccination, negative PCR covid test, mask/facial covering usage, temperature checks, social distancing, etc. and may be updated or adjusted. Any changes will be communicated by WBA/WBAF to attendees in advance of the event and/or upon attendees’ arrival at the event.
