Through two full days of programming, experienced leaders will share their insights and practical guidance on navigating the shifting tides in environmental, energy, and resources law and policy on the state, federal, and international levels. Panels will delve into a range of topics, including the reverberating impacts of recent and landmark Supreme Court decisions, such as Seven County Infrastructure Coalition v. Eagle County, Colorado and SEC v. Jarkesy; the important role played by state and local laws and policies on critical topics, including climate change, environmental justice, and the energy transition; the challenge of navigating diverging requirements across different jurisdictions, such as E.U. and U.S. legal requirements on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG); the legal complexities surrounding the presence of PFAS in biosolids; and the ethical complexities of counseling on environmental marketing and disclosures. Who can access the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia member portal?
