Exposure to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances which are a group of manufactured chemicals which are used in industrial and consumer products since the 1940s – known as PFAS -- has been linked to harmful health impacts in humans and animals, and PFAS has been the focus of thousands of lawsuits alleging personal injury and property damage. The Biden Administration has prioritized identifying and addressing PFAS contamination from industrial and federal facilities. What are the recent developments in this highly watched area? Federal government, nonprofit and private sector panelists will speak to the challenges associated with PFAS contamination. Don't miss the opportunity for a 360 discussion of how PFAS liability is affecting the public and the regulated community.
