WBA Members-Only Event

Sponsored by: WBA Community Projects Subcommittee

Co-sponsor: Volunteer Legal Advocates

Join us for a lunch and learn session with Volunteer Legal Advocates designed to connect attorneys with meaningful pro bono opportunities. This virtual event will provide an overview of Volunteer Legal Advocates’ mission to end the cycle of violence for survivors of domestic abuse and intimate partner violence through comprehensive legal services.

During this one-hour session, attendees will learn about the cases Volunteer Legal Advocates handles, including civil protection orders, family law matters, and immigration relief. Volunteer Legal Advocates staff will discuss their volunteer attorney program, training opportunities, and ongoing support provided to pro bono attorneys. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys to learn how they can make a direct impact in their community while gaining invaluable experience in areas that service vulnerable populations. Volunteer Legal Advocates provides comprehensive training and case support to volunteers to ensure they feel confident and prepared to take on pro bono matters.

If you like what you hear, stick around to speak with Volunteer Legal Advocates staff about their clinics and more involved volunteer opportunities.
