The WBA kicks off its programming year with Stars of the Bar. This event is attended by leaders in the DC legal community, women and men alike, who gather to network, learn more about the WBA, and celebrate our Stars.

Our theme for this 2024-2025 bar year is “Strong Communities, Strong Careers.” Since its inception, the WBA has been advocating for women’s proper place in the legal profession, and we know that work is best done in community with others. This year, in support of our bar year theme, we are celebrating women who have led communities that support the career development of women and others in the legal profession.
