Please join 131 & Counting and the Diversity in Government Relations Coalition (DGR) to discuss the DGR inaugural report aimed at capturing demographic data about those working to shape policy at the national and local levels and providing insight into their experiences in the government affairs industry to help spur change. Not surprisingly, the survey found that "women, people of color, and people with disabilities were commonly having worse experiences of working within the government relations field than their peers who are men, white, or nondisabled."
The discussion aims to not only unveil these sobering statistics but to dissect their implications and, most importantly, illuminate the path forward.
